1. Overview
These terms and conditions govern your use of clearlakeseo.com and any services provided by Clear Lake SEO, operated by Dale Ogden. By using this website or engaging Clear Lake SEO for services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
Clear Lake SEO provides local SEO consulting services including but not limited to keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, Google Business Profile management, link building, content creation, and website redesign. The specific scope of work for each client is agreed upon prior to the start of any engagement.
3. Payment
Services are billed at a flat rate of $750 per month. Payment is due at the start of each monthly billing period. Clear Lake SEO reserves the right to pause or discontinue work if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.
4. No Contract
Engagements operate on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contract required. Either party may end the engagement with 30 days written notice. Notice can be provided by email to [email protected].
5. No Guarantee of Rankings
Clear Lake SEO does not guarantee specific search engine rankings or positions. Search engine algorithms are controlled by third parties including Google and are subject to change at any time. Results vary depending on your industry, competition, website condition, and other factors outside of our control. We guarantee consistent effort, transparent reporting, and strategies built on established best practices.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your business, timely access to required accounts and platforms, and reasonable cooperation throughout the engagement. Clear Lake SEO cannot be held responsible for delays or reduced results caused by a lack of access or cooperation.
7. Ownership of Work
Upon full payment for services rendered, you retain ownership of all content, pages, and materials created specifically for your website as part of the engagement. Strategic frameworks, processes, and methodologies used by Clear Lake SEO remain the intellectual property of Clear Lake SEO.
8. Confidentiality
Clear Lake SEO will not share your business information, data, or strategy with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. Client information is used solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.
9. Third Party Platforms
Clear Lake SEO works within third party platforms including Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and others. We are not responsible for changes to these platforms, account suspensions, or actions taken by third parties that affect your search visibility.
10. Limitation of Liability
Clear Lake SEO’s total liability for any claim arising from the services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client in the 30 days prior to the claim. Clear Lake SEO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue or lost business opportunities.
11. Website Redesign
Where a website redesign is included as part of the engagement, the final site will be delivered in a reasonable timeframe agreed upon at the start of the project. The client is responsible for providing necessary content, brand assets, and timely feedback. Delays caused by the client may affect the delivery timeline.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Harris County, Texas.
13. Changes to These Terms
Clear Lake SEO reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of services after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
